1. What age did you fall in love with fishing? I started fishing when I was big enough to hold a pole. My dad got me started.
2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? Rice Lake, Canada… I caught so many blue gills during the week that my arms hurt. I think between me and my dad we brought home 800 bluegills for the week. That doesn’t count all the ones we threw back.
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? Pan fish of any kind. I enjoy bass fishing too. And I love chasing trout with a fly rod. I use the fly rod on all species when I can. I love fishing with a fly rod.
4. What is your funniest fishing story? I was 16 year of age and fly fishing for bluegills with a neighbor girl in a small jonboat who was at the other end of the boat. I was lifting my line off the water to cast to another spot, when at the last second a small bluegill grabbed my fly and come flying out of the water and flew straight at my friend and hit her in the chest. She thought I did that on purpose and proceeded to grab seaweed and started trowing it at me. Never did convince her that it was an accident. We laughed about it later.
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? It’s given me a chance to get into small water that my big boat will not do as easily. I like the ability to have some stealth when I move around and have the benefits of a kayak without the hassle of a kayak. Because of all the stuff on the TT. I can’t just lift it up and put it into my truck. I have to trailer it wherever I go. It’s the hardest trailer to back up I own. The short tongue and length of the trailer forces me to make micro adjustments when backing it up. I also have come to realize that for the most part you’re going to get wet when using this boat. Unless you have a dock to launch or load from, you’re going to get wet. I don’t have that issue with my big boat.. I like the twin troller for it’s intended purpose. As a 58 year old man I’m not flexible enough to be in a canoe or kayak and have fun fishing. The TT allows for an upright sitting position or I can stand too if I don’t have to move. I’ve had many hours with friends, spouse and solo and am happy to have in in my stable.
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why? Hank Parker. Watching his tv shows as a kid and young adult taught me a lot of cool things to try. I like his attitude and he seems to be a genuinely great person to be around. Kevin Van Dam would be a good second. I’m a fellow Michigander and know his brother who runs a fishing/boating store in Kalamazoo Michigan.
7. Who is your favorite fishing buddy? My wife, we share most everything together. 36 years and counting…
8. Do you have any fishing superstitions? Nope. When I was a teen I used to have a lucky hunting vest that I wore almost overtime I went hunting. But soon grew out of that… literally. And that ended the tradition. LOL, however, I still have it hanging with my other hunting jackets and vests reminding me of the great times we had together. Some things are hard to discard.

1. What age did you fall in love with fishing? Been fishing since I was 8 and I have never stopped since. It’s the best excuse yet to get out of the house
2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? Watching my brother spend 2 hours trying to bring in huge Gar fish when he was 12
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? I love Northern Pike for the fight. I love Bass because it’s Bass and ultra light for pan fish.
4. What is your funniest fishing story? I wrote this one before but I was able to rescue two teen boys stuck in shallow water so bad that they actually blew up their Dads outboard in the mud trying to get free. I put one boy in the TT and pulled the small 15 foot aluminum boat out into deeper water where they paddled back to the dock. I noticed the one boy was already crying probably thinking how to tell Dad
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? I was simply stuck on shore till my TT came along. I am blessed in Michigan with hundreds of small lakes I have access to now that larger boats just stay away from. I am able to easily access huge weeded areas the big boats stay away from. This means I go to areas of less fishing pressure.
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why? Probably Frank because I want to see him bounce up and down on the side because I can’t get myself to do it.

8. Do you have any fishing superstitions? I never fish on a Day that does not end in Y. LOL

1. What age did you fall in love with fishing? It was 5-6 years old, my father would take us kids to the creek in Oklahoma where he grew up! I remember getting a thrill out of even the tiniest rugs from bluegill on the cane pole!
2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? My fondest memories were when Dad and I joined the Irving bass club and started entering tournaments in the father and son category. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but I do remember pop and I rarely lost a first place and I almost always got jr big bass! It got to where folks and dad and I heard them say! “Might as well go home! Wayne and his boy showed up today!”
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? I have always preferred bass fishing, large mouth. But I tangle with anything that wants to jump on my hook! Cept gators and snakes!!
4. What is your funniest fishing story? Dad and I were at lake Breckinridge in Texas, at a Tournament. I was getting bored and lost a little interest in fishing. Well, I was in the back of the boat, with my purple and white spotted back worm, just trailing alongside. When all of the sudden! I saw this huge mouth coming up and engulfing the worm! I almost had an accident right there! I only had about 4’ of line out and guess he set the hook himself! I was grabbing for the pole and dad was hollering at me to set the hook! I made so much noise it wasn’t even funny till afterwards. I don’t remember reaching to get it in the boat, but dad got his de-liar out of the tackle box and that sucker weighed just over 5lbs! I won junior big bass, and an ambassador 5500C and ugly stick rod! First of 6 over the years dad and I fished together. That was my first decent size bass but to remember how I was flopping around sure wish video was around back then!
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? The Twin Troller has allowed me to go places that I’ve never been able to go before. I can control the placement of the boat so that I’m facing the areas I want to cast into. When I’m in weeds or lilies I just don’t really worry about having the trolling motors get caught up on stuff I can just fish with confidence. It’s comfortable to fish in this boat all day long! For me fishing in the small bodies of water that I have in my area, this boat is just absolutely the worlds best fishing boat!
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why?I really wish that my father could fish with me again. He’s 90 years old and is an able to move stand or do all the things that he used to do. I just wish that I could share the experience of the twin troller with him.

8. Do you have any fishing superstitions? Don’t ask me why! I picked it up from my dad! Whenever I catch a really small fish, I spit down his mouth, and tell him before I throw him back to tell his big old daddy to come do something about it. I’ve always felt that if I didn’t do that I would not catch any more fish for the rest of the day.

1. What age did you fall in love with fishing? I came to fishing later in life. While may get exposed to the sport/hobby as children, I was in my 30’s when I first took up fishing on the suggestion of a buddy who just started fly-fishing. I took some lessons, fell in love and over the years fly fished in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. As family and work responsibilities increased, I found myself with less time to trek out west and instead began fly fishing and spin casting for bass in my home state of Ohio and its neighboring states.
2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? My favorite fishing memories are when my daughters caught their first fish. My second favorite memories are of catching trout in the Rockies. My third favorite memory is catching a six-pound bass in Canada’s Georgian Bay.
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? These days, I mostly fish for bass on a lake in Indiana where I have a cabin (and keep my Twin Troller).
4. What is your funniest fishing story? I still crack up when thinking about the time I thought I had hooked a hog and it turned out to be a rusty lawn chair.
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? The Twin Troller has made fishing on my lake much more enjoyable given its ease-of-use and it’s maneuverability. (Canoes and kayaks are fine, but often frustrating as they’re hard to control with current and wind.) Fishing from my pontoon boat is also a hassle due to its size and inability to get to waters that aren’t over-fished. In addition, the Twin Troller makes it easy for my wife to join me on some excursions, which she enjoys doing.
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why? I’d like to get some fishing and fly casting lessons from Lefty Kreh.

8. Do you have any fishing superstitions? I almost always wear one of several of my lucky hats (even though they don’t always bring me luck).

1. What age did you fall in love with fishing?As early as I can remember (5-6 yrs old). My Dad loved to fish (Mom too) and with 4 brothers/sisters I think it was my way of getting quality time with my parents.
2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? Catching my 1st legal Musky in Northern Wisconsin when I was 13 or 14. I was with one of my brothers and my cousin fishing from a canoe that we had to portage across by hand into an isolated lake.
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? Today I prefer salt water fishing in the Intra-Costal waters west of Tampa, FL.
4. What is your funniest fishing story? My Son and I were screaming across the Gulf of Mexico in his Yamaha jet boat east of St. Pete, FL on a very flat sea on our way to one of Florida’s many artificial reefs. At about 42mph I saw a sunning shark from the bow of the boat only a few feet in front of us, well there was no time to do anything except bump over top of the 12′ beast. It was a good thing this was a jet boat as we stopped as quick as we could to look back. That shark was nowhere to be seen! I’m sure he wondered what hit him.
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? My son sold his boat, so my grandson and I were relegated to surf fishing or the occasional pier or dock here in Seminole, FL. I started watching the YouTube videos of the TT and was quickly sold. Affordable and extremely stable, I love taking the boat out alone or with my grandson on a moments notice!
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why?Gadabout Gaddis (The Flying Fisherman). Found memories of watching his TV show when I was a kid!
7. Who is your favorite fishing buddy? My grandson Ryan!
8. Do you have any fishing superstitions? No, none. I have caught fish all different times of the day and in all kinds of weather and all over the US!

2. Do you have a favorite fishing memory? With my dad and uncle fishing for Northern Pike in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Actually caught a seagull… Crazy time trying to release it from the spoon. Laughed our butts off…
3. What kind of fishing do you prefer? Any kind… Not so much Ice. Leary about the ICE and don’t have the equipment.
4. What is your funniest fishing story? I guess it would have to be the Favorite from #2 above.
5. How has the Twin Troller changed your fishing experience? For the better. Love being able to get into the shallow waters and being silent stalking the big ones.
6. If you could take one guest a long with you fishing, who would you choose and why? Grandson. He loves to fish. He was five when I took him out. We were talking about whats good about fishing. He turned around and and said. “Grandpa. Do you know what else is good about fishing?” I said what’s that Carter? His response was “The People you fish with!” I couldn’t get to him fast enough for a hug. He’s only five! Love that kid.

Grew up fishing the Midwest, both small lakes and Lake Erie. Also fished in Ontario Canada on nearly yearly trips. Presently fish in Southern Utah on small mountain and high desert lakes.

Starting in 1973 I would go fishing a few times a year with a friend and we would tube float and fish for bass. I then moved and did not fish for several years then I got a Bass Buster and would go now and then. That boat did not last and got Pond Prowler. Same thing did not last. Discovered Lake Fork and got the Twin Troller in 2010 We have a RV parked there and I go as often as I can.

I have fished all over the Texas Panhandle and neighboring states. Used to fish local tournaments (bass). We had a really bad drought and our local lakes nearly dried up so I got into kayaking. The wife and I fish all over with kayaks but she wanted something with more stability and a motor. I purchased the Fisherman Deluxe Twin Troller and we have used it all over including big waters to small ponds.

Fishing Bio:
I grew up fishing the Sabine River in a 14′ flat bottom. Since then I have fished in nearly every state, primarily for Bass. I have fished Alaska to Florida, Saltwater, Brackish and Freshwater, Lakes, Rivers and Ponds. I am a fishing nut who eats what I need and release the rest. I also spent 8 years in the US Coast Guard and, yes we did fish while on duty. I’m retired now and disabled. I fish the Sabine River system in Texas where the water meets the Saltwater barrier.

In my younger years I fished Bass tournys and was a member of a Bass Club on the Tenn river and surrounding area. I later took up Crappie fishing and got away from tournaments and clubs. I mainly fish small watershed lakes and private lakes now. I wish i had bought the Twin Troller X10 several years ago, best fishing boat i ever owned.
