Kayacht Touring 130

Kayacht Touring 130

We all know the Twin Troller X10 is the world’s best fishing boat.  The Kayacht Touring 130 is the world’s best electric kayak!

Imagine a whisper quiet electric powered boat that just glides effortlessly through the water and is so wide and stable that it is a total joy to ride. The Kayacht Touring 130 offers this and so much more. There is no other electric boat or powered kayak like it. With it’s built-in custom electric propulsion unit, unique hull design, and room for 3 passengers the Touring 130 is one of the most versatile electric boats on the market.

Environmentally friendly, the Touring 130 requires no messy gas, emits no harmful fumes, or pollution, and operates at speeds that don’t throw a large wake and harm the shore line. With more and more lakes are being designated “electric only”, where gas motors are not permitted, the Touring 130 is the idle boat to enjoy the water. In addition, the boat is virtually maintenance free and costs only pennies to operate.

Perfect for use in lakes, ocean bays, lagoons, and coastal backwaters.

Comfort

The Kayacht Touring 130 is the only electric kayak of its kind. With thick padded seats and excellent width and leg room, there is not a similar watercraft of comparable comfort and quality on the market. The boat has molded-in chair areas and floor slats that can be used as foot supports or foot rests, and the seats can also be removed to achieve a lower center of gravity and you can add your own cushions or beach towels if you wish.

Exercise

The Touring 130 is not just a power boat, it can be used with a standard kayak paddle and can be great way to exercise. You can paddle out and power home if you get fatigued, or alternate to extend your day on the water and improve your fitness. Many people have avoided enjoying a traditional kayak for fear of running out of steam and becoming unable to return to their launch point. With the Touring 130 you’ll never have this worry.

Performance

Hull Design & Tracking

The unique hull design is stable and well engineered. The efficient hull cuts through the water smoothly for a nice relaxing ride. Due to the Touring 130 hull design the boat tracks straight on course without weaving, veering or slipping and sliding to the left and right. It out performs and tracks much better than Jon boats or flat bottom kayaks. Kayak owners and fishermen who have been previously frustrated with how traditional kayaks (and kayaks with trolling motors) slip and slide around haphazardly; find this boat to be a total pleasure to operate. No more consistent adjustments to keep the boat moving in a straight line.

Speed

The Kayacht Touring 130 Electric Kayak moves quite briskly at appox. 4 mph. This is roughly twice as fast as a Jon boat with a comparable trolling motor on full speed, so it moves briskly and it can go significantly faster than the average paddler can paddle for any extended period of time. Pedal powered kayaks, currently on the market, simply cannot keep up, and of course they can’t go in reverse like the Touring 130.

Steering Control

This boat offers convenient lever style rack & pinion cable steering right at your fingertips without having to reach behind your back as with rear tiller steering motor arrangements. It also removes all the problems associated with the push/pull foot rudder controls used by many other kayaks on the market.

Motor

The powerful 30 LB thrust custom electric motor offers 5 forward speeds and 3 reverse speeds. With it’s sleek hull design the Touring 130 cuts through the water and the 30 LB thrust motor is all that is required to swiftly propel the Kayacht to it’s destination.

Shallow Water Performance

The motor tilts up for excellent shallow water performance. This allows you to access and travel through a wide variety of water conditions that other powered boats cannot, without disturbing the environment.

Run Time

If you run at a mixture of speeds the Touring 130 can easily last all day on a single charge. For the nonstop user, the boat can run continuously for up to 5-6 hours on slow to low-medium speeds. Medium to medium high speeds can reduce the run time to about 3-4 hours and full speed all the time can reduce the run time to up to about 2.5 hours. But you can always carry a small spare battery to extend the run time.

Virtually any brand of 12V deep cycle battery can use with the boat, and we recommend Interstate brand batteries for their quality and performance. Batteries can be removed from the boat for changing with a standard battery charger in a clean dry location, or the boats can be outfitted with an on-board charger. With the on-board changer all you need is an extension cord to plug to the unit, and with an overnight charge the boat will be charger and ready to go the next day.
